With a President-Elect Trump, liberals across the nation are trying to come to grips with an agenda that very well may be the screen-shot-2016-11-20-at-7-21-48-pmmost Conservative that any of them have seen in their lives. Even though many millennial’s might vaguely remember George W. Bush, it is no secret now that he was a fiscal liberal who was responsible for setting the table for an Obama regime to run amuck when it comes to monetary policy and the constitution shredding war on our 4th amendment rights. With a Trump/Pence administration, and the likelihood that Trump may very well nominate up to four SCOTUS justices, the idea that Roe vs. Wade may be overturned is changing from a hope for many, to a very real possibility. Should this occur, it would not outlaw abortion at a federal level, but it would send abortion back to the state level for each to decide.

That being said, a bill that is being brought by a group in Indiana by the name of Hoosiers For Life, called the Protection At Conception Act, would take existing Indiana code verbiage and enforce it, making all abortions illegal. In doing this, 22 babies would be saved everyday from being slaughtered in the Hoosier state. Here is a quote directly from the Hoosiers For Life website:

“Indiana Code already notes “That human physical life begins when a human ovum is fertilized by a human sperm.”  IC 16-34-2-1.1

Despite this, preborn babies continue to be slaughtered in the womb at an estimated rate of 22 per day throughout the year in Indiana.

What Indiana needs to do is protect the preborn life that the Indiana Code has already acknowledged exists.  The objective is to save preborn babies from the butcher.

The solution is the Protection at Conception bill, which treats the unborn like any other living individual.

Simply stated, an abortion in Indiana would be treated like any other intentional death.

Law enforcement would investigate this intentional death.

The prosecutor with jurisdiction would then file any charges deemed appropriate for the wrongful death.”

A state representative by the name of Curt Nisly is introducing the bill and endorsements from within the state have already started to roll in. If you head to their Facebook page you will see endorsements announced daily which have already included Constitutional Sherif Brad Rogers, the Indiana Liberty Coalition, and me, Jeff Petermann, former US Congressional Candidate and Editor-in Chief of The Conservinator.

So if you are not in Indiana reading this right now, why is this something you should care about? This bill is a model for what other states could implement should Roe vs. Wade be overturned. What happens in Indiana with this bill more than likely will be a precursor to other states over the next 2-3 years. The budget bill for 2018 that will be unveiled in a little over a year will more than likely include defunding of Planned Parenthood, which will be a telltale sign that the process of overturning Roe vs. Wade will begin momentarily.

The genocide of abortion has been responsible for the horrific deaths of 60 million pre-born babies since Roe vs. Wade was decided. When legalization happened, 4D ultrasounds were not even a thing and science was still referring to these helpless growing babies as “balls of goo”. When the decision was handed down, it was explained that if “personhood” was ever established for the preborn baby, that abortion could not happen. Personhood is being pursued by many organizations in the nation and, with the new administration taking office in 2017, will be a key part of whatever court case is filed and brought before SCOTUS that will prompt the decision that will take abortion back to the state level.

The Conservinator is proud to endorse this amazing bill and will be bringing you updates after the first of the year when the bill is officially introduced in the Indiana legislature. For more information on how you can help, contact Hoosiers For Life at hoosiersforlifeteam@gmail.com.
